Since I launched Tweenior Moments back in August 2015, I’m discovering some amazing publishing opportunities (both in print and online) beyond my own little humor blog that have kicked my freelance writer butt in high gear. While I’m learning a lot and having fun writing my blog, “fun” doesn’t pay the bills, right?
So, I’ve been busy republishing my blog content on other websites and writing original content for print magazines and online platforms, which helps me rebuild my writing portfolio, gain exposure, build “my brand” and get paid—one article at a time. In fact, my writing is popping up all over the place lately!
Where Am I Splattered?
In the past few weeks, I’ve been splattered across the internet with recently published articles on these amazing sites:
- Humor Outcasts about my bickering teens
- Sammiches & Psych Meds about my crazy family dinner times
- Scary Mommy’s Club Mid about life lessons from growing up in the ’70s & ’80s
- Good Life Family Magazine about the benefits of pet ownership and how to make teens want to hang out at home
- Mamapedia about me jumping off the Fitbit bandwagon
